Daniel Reid Cahn is the Founder & CEO of Slingshot AI.
Daniel started coding at age 8 and at 16, dropped out of high school to focus on philosophy, ethics, and artificial intelligence. As an undergrad, he gave a TEDx talk, gave a talk on philosophy at a royal conference at which he met the Queen of England, and won the prize for highest marks, and graduated at 19. His Master’s in Machine Learning at Imperial earned him highest honours and an award for novel work in Deep Reinforcement Learning. His postgrad research in Natural Language Processing at Imperial’s Data Science Institute helped support 1M+ people through mental health crises. Most recently, Daniel worked with several of the world’s largest financial institutions to develop deep-learning models. Today, he’s focused on making it easier and faster to develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models to solve real-world problems.
Daniel’s talks and writings focus predominately on the present and future of artificial intelligence, as well as its impact on society, politics and the economy.
